• Audyssey Laboratories. Developed a Feature Overview document and Users Guide document for the Audyssey Tuning System (ATS).

• Digidesign Training & Education Program Information Management System. As part of our ongoing collaboration with Digidesign, we have developed several sites and workspaces to facilitate communication between training department staff and contractors.

• Multi-office Department Management Site Collection. We developed tools for job scheduling and tracking, vacation scheduling, and office-specific contact lists to enable local and regional managers for an international company to track projects and allocate resources from their desktops. 
  

• St. John’s Crab Feed Program. Since 2004, we have provided graphics, layout, and production support for St. John’s Annual Crab Feed. Click on a thumbnail to the right to see sample pages.

• STC 53rd Annual Conference Presentation. Owner Frank Cook co-presented a session at the 2006 Society for Technical Communication Annual Conference in Las Vegas, along with colleague Sharon Lynn. The session topic was Policy and Procedures Control Process using SharePoint Technology: A Collaborative System for Managing and Publishing Controlled Documents.  Click the icon to the right for session materials. 

• Pro Tools Courseware Development. IWS has been writing and editing official Pro Tools courseware for Digidesign since 2005. In addition to the Pro Tools 101 book, projects have included Pro Tools 110, Essentials of Pro Tools, Pro Tools 201, Pro Tools Production, Pro Tools 210M, Music Production Techniques, and Pro Tools 310I, Advanced ICON Mixing Techniques.

• Template and Training for Chevron. IWS prepared a Microsoft Word® 2003 template file, along with an associated template guide document and webcast training, to facilitate processing, formatting, and layout of large documents prepared for the Chevron International Exploration and Production Domestic Gas Supply Project. The template included the following features and functionality:

  • Styles and keyboard shortcuts for commonly used formatting

  • AutoText entries for reusable document components

  • Macros for automating common processes

  • Custom toolbars for quick access to styles and macros
